How did they get it/them?: She was attacked by Damian and Seraphina (I haven't decided who actually dealt the blow yet) with a sword, they were aiming for somewhere around her heart or stomach, in an attempt to strike a fatal blow, but she fought back, and the sword ended up going through her pelvis, near her hip, and a bit of her stomach.

Do they have any distinguishing features? (missing/extra limbs tails or whiskers included): Her posture, deathly pale skin, and strange style of dressing.

Do they have any particular style? (Goth, emo, jock….): Um, a little bit gothy punk, but it's not on purpose, her clothes are ripped from years of wearing them, and she has chains and things tied to her because she's a prisoner. Some of her clothes she made herself to purposely look frightening and sinister.

What do they like to wear?: She used to love wearing simple and elegant dresses, now she likes to wear mix and match cloth stitched together, netting, things like that to look frightening.

Do they wear makeup?: Sometimes, but it's more face paint.

Do they wear jewellery?: Made out of bones.

Do they have any disabilities?: Yes, she hasn't been able to walk properly since the attack, she CAN walk, but she limps a lot, and she can never have children.

What magical powers or abilities does your character have?: She has some witch abilities, as she was born a witch, but as she was forced to become a prisoner, and was injured horribly, she became bitter and angry. Her powers developed in such a way that she could see into the future of those she came into contact with if she so wished, she is very sensitive to her surroundings and spirits. She also makes voodoo dolls, which work, but only if the person who she's practising voodoo on doesn't know, or is an incredibly strong person, for example, she cannot practise voodoo successfully on her sister, since her sister is an incredibly powerful witch. She uses tarot cards as well to determine certain things, and can also make potions very successfully. Many of them harmful if consumed, she has yet to perfect the 'love' potion, ironic because it was her love of someone that caused her to become a prisoner to her own sister.

Did someone teach them to use these powers?: Her mother taught her to do basic spells, and also how to sew, this is how she learned to actually make voodoo dolls, her tutors taught her to make useful potions. The rest she learned herself through books, and what she already knew.

Or were they left to discover them themselves?: After her family were dead yes.

Are they a hero or a villain?: It's hard to say, she was once an incredibly sweet and loving girl.

If none of these, were there any events in your character's past that has changed or traumatised them?: Yes, because of the way she's been treated she's become a recluse, she's not mentally stable, and is suspicious of everyone.

She was born many many many years ago when it was normal for everyone to have powers of some kind. She lived in a normal family, and was trained like all other witches and wizards of the time in basic magic and potion making and such. She was very close to her oldest sister, Seraphina, but was a little jealous when her older sister received a familiar at a young age. She didn't let it bother her too much though, she loved her sister too much to hate her for such a trivial thing. Adina wasn't nearly as skilled as her sister, and was pretty average, so tried hard to get attention from her parents, which she never really got. She was quiet and polite, and did as she was told, she learned to sew and cook, and brew potions and such. When she got older she began to notice her sister's familiar more, since her often took a human form, and was rarely in his cat form, and as it was, she fell in love with him. When she finally confessed her love at the age of 17, it was near the time when the revolution started. Damian rejected her, telling her he already loved Seraphina and could never love anyone else leaving her heartbroken. Damian told Seraphina, who was already becoming cruel and manipulative, and she mocked and bullied her sister for loving her familiar. Not able to cope with the rejection, Adina started to obsess over Damian, she couldn't leave him alone, studying dark magic in an attempt to win his affection. Seraphina finally had enough when Adina slipped Damian a love potion that made him violently sick, and told her sister if she didn't leave them alone, then she would make her sister regret ever being born. Things escalated, and Adina tried more and more to get Damian. By this point Damian and Seraphina had decided they were in love (Seraphina more saying this to aggravate her sister) and basically rubbed this in Adina's face. In a moment of sheer madness and pain, Adina tried to murder her sister, who had been kissing Damian in front of her, trying to kill her with a sword. In return, Seraphina ordered Damian to put an end to her sister, so snatching the sword from her, he intended to kill Adina in a single blow, but missed as the pair struggled, and stabbed her in between her pelvis and stomach, injuring her hip in the process as well. Realising what she has done, Seraphina hid her sister away, claiming she had been killed by those without powers during the revolution, and actually made an attempt to save her little sister. She managed to stop her from dying, but didn't manage to completely heal her. In confusion, she decided to just keep the girl hidden away, and use her as a slave if she could, her revenge for trying to kill her. She convinced Damian to take her food so she would survive, and books to study, in the hope that she may one day be able to use her sister to her advantage to help her when she overthrew everyone else, but quickly realised that wouldn't happen. As Adina's powers developed, she blackmailed her into using her voodoo, and making potions to kill and manipulate those Seraphina didn't like. To this day Adina is still hidden away, desperately trying to perfect a love potion to win Damian with still, her love for him never died despite all the problems he caused her. She doesn't try to escape, because she has no reason to live except for Damian, he is her reason to live, she knows she will only be free when she can win his love....kind of sad hmm?
